BOOKS-A Mission of Self-Discovery

 

BOOKS DONATION, is a JLK-JLU Book Drive. We are engaged in BOOKS DONATION to street kids, school children and their all-around educational development and we have an ambitious project to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through donating Christian children books, Character Building Kit books and other educational books and materials to poor areas and rural schools, a commitment to missions in the most gospel-starved and spiritually dark areas of the world, where nobody has ever heard the Gospel of Love of our Lord, Jesus.

GOALS & Character Building

By donating books, we hope to promote the genuine love of reading among children and inspire the children back to school, and re-discovering new things through our mini libraries. We believe that strengthening the reading and comprehension skills of students would help boost the quality of education in our public school systems and enable to teach the children build a strong Christian character. We also acknowledge the value of joint commitment between us and teachers and the parents and hope to work together for a loving cause.

The project we need support is the multicultural library center and the projects we would like to invite you to collaborate is the Books Donation to poor rural schools and slum areas in Asia and in the future Africa.

Project Activity

Any kids are welcome to have access to all the books from The Heart Library. In order to borrow, they have to be a regular and able to study the books. In field mission, book give-away can be exchange to another book. The JLK JLU activity will benefit kids, students, teachers and low income families and children living in poor rural school area, remote area and in urban slums of the country.

 

Main Responsibilities

The books will be property and under the care of the children´s ministry In-charge. Their main responsibilites is to keep a record and a progress report will be sent once a year to PO1-TH/JLK-JLU Mission and send a confirmation for each time of new book arrivals.
