JLK JLU: Cambodian Experience 2012

Only in my dreams... then I realized I am living my dreams!  All glory to God in Jesus´ name.

HARVEST TIME
A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

“Overall, this was a fantastic, unforgettable experience.

I love you, Jesus. I am thankful to take this journey with you.

As illustrated above, this phrase is used to express that it can be easier to show something in a picture than to describe it by speaking words.

Local: You are Cambodian? No? Yes?

Me: Nope.

Local: Really?

What a surprise greetings! As the natives looked at me with skepticism, I felt home--instantly! I was allowed to feel like one of them, and I became the "Cambodian foreign girl."

I learned that it does not matter what culture or background you are. What matters is that you create relationships with others in a split of seconds.

Faces I only met during my trip but forever in my heart will remain.

While in Cambodia, I love you more with each passing moment. Thank you for the experience, and I will never forget the people I met and the knowledge I gained through the trip.
