OSS Ormoc Skeptron Sorority has been a Loving Act.org liaison since 2014 and officially organized and registered in 2016.
Loving Act.org and OSS Ormoc Skeptron Sorority provide the support system and financial contribution to our Community Chapter Outreach.
Our Community Improvement Awareness purpose is:

To educate our community, our youth, and the children on the importance of community development and environment self-awareness.

To inspire our youth and peers to step up and be exemplary role models for the children and youth.

To provide an initiative in improving our community and our city itself through tree planting, gardening, clean-up drive, and info drive.

To uplift the elderly and disabled people by improving their quality of life and

Organizing programs and projects related to indigent widows and OVC, lone senior citizens, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) esp. children to raise awareness and provide knowledge with their individual rights and privileges in the society.

NATURAL DISASTER EMERGENCY RESPONCE AND RELIEF OPERATION - TYPHOON ODETTE aka RAI

Christmas Children Event by THETA ZETA CHAPTER (Brgy. Valencia) & OSS Due to Super Typhoon Odette, internationally known as "RAI" the led GS Chapter decided to cancel the Children´s Gift for Christmas and help the Southern Leyte victims instead. December 16, 2021 | 6:26pm. 'Odette' makes 3rd landfall over Southern Leyte. Together with Alumni leaders of SAO, OSC and other chapters, a RElief Operation to Southern Leyte will be scheduled on Dec 28 led by SAO officials. Photos will be available below.

Super Typhoon Rai (locally named Odette) made landfall on 16 December 202, with maximum sustained winds of 195km/h and gustiness of 260km/h.
Intensifying from a tropical storm to a super typhoon within hours, Rai brought torrential rains, violent winds, landslides and storm surges, making nine landfalls in seven provinces.
According to the Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center (DROMIC) data released on 20 December, over 1.8 million people (452,307 families) were affected in 3,286 barangays across Regions V, VI, VII, VIII, X, XI, MIMAROPA, and Caraga. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported that 631,402 people remained displaced, most of them in evacuation centres.
Initial data suggested that Caraga and Regions VI, VII, VIII and IV-B (MIMAROPA) were hit hardest, with communities in Surigao del Norte, Dinagat Island, Southern Leyte, Bohol and Cebu most severely affected.
