I will never forget the look on my mother´s face when she found out there was a landslide in my hometown in 1991 (Nov 5). Two of my brothers were missing for days. My uncle lost his family that day, and my grandmother later lost my uncle. Losing his whole family in a split second and finding his wife holding their baby after days of searching--he completely lost his mind.

One of the reasons I understand how it felt and how difficult it is for the victims. My brothers told us how the dead people looked just seconds after the landslide. It is too little, but families who know the aftermath will not sleep well at night, knowing their little help can make so much difference to others.
