ENRICHMENT - EMPOWERMENT - CELEBRATION

This year's holiday season will likely feel more normal than last on this side of the continent. 

Heard of Super Typhoon Odette, Super Typhoon Odette (internationally known as Super Typhoon "Rai") hit the Philippines. 

19 of December, my first sentence of the day was, there will be a change of plan. There was no electricity for days, news all over social media, water scarcity unfolded, stores closed down, houses ruined, cash outlets and food shelves were empty. For four days, we could not contact my cousin in Southern Leyte. There are growing concerns about the upcoming Christmas holidays in Cebu, Siargao worst case, Bohol included, and other Visayas islands. Children's Christmas annual celebration; one has been canceled to extend assistance to the victims in Southern Leyte. The rest are still in place.

That's the bad news!

Now, the GOOD NEWS! At first, it was not possible at all. But words are alive; they manifest and make their way to another realm. In there, words are spoken miracle in the making. So, I am not surprised, well, ok, I am surprised and still like "WoW"! Jesus, you meant after all the chaos and having an empty jar even more like the jar had a hole under, here you are MAKING YET ANOTHER MIRACULOUS SEASON.

There is always a miracle when you respond to the movement. There is always healing when responding to the stirring.

Let us see and witness how December unfolds for the children on the remote island of the Philippines, in the slums of Kenya, and rural areas of Ghana. Maybe, there is also a moral lesson and fantastic experience we adults can gain from this challenge. As for me, God never stops to amaze me, and Jesus is paving the way to spread the Gospel of Love continuously. I am broke, but why I am feeling so richly blessed.
