PLAYING WITH A HEART & MIND

The story of a young aspiring footballer named Philip "Santi" Mayaka from the slum of Lenana to his rise in the professional world of footballers will give you an inspiration that will remind you --- There Is No Place Like Home. A footballer with a heart set to become a heroic leader inspiring the younger generation.

Philip "Santi" Mayaka has partnered with BROSIS FOOTBALL CLUB and LovingAct.org /JLKJLU AFRICA (Jesus Loves Kids-Jesus Loves You) to launch The MAYAKA TOURNAMENT, the first independent football tournament of its kind for underprivileged children in the slum.

Being the First Ambassador of Brosis Football Club Soccer, this charitable young man dreams of being a successful professional football player and a conscious influencer with a heart. And where best to make it happen -- giving back to his childhood home team in Lenana.

Thanks to Kennedy Olouch, who is the Founder and Chairman of BROSIS Football Club and his team. Together with Coach George, Coach William, Coach Moses, and Advised Deno, BROSIS will be the heart of many aspiring young footballers and the community in Lenana supporting the cause of empowering Ngando´s underprivileged youth through sports.

MAYAKA TOURNAMENT

A friendly youth soccer tournament kicking off this COMING WEEKEND in the Access Ground Area. Held on 24th & 25th July 2021, the youth soccer tournament is a competition for U9/U11/U13 with 10 awesome Football Teams from Nairobi. Registration is free of charge.

On behalf of the Brosis Football club, we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated in one way or another. We realized the impact that this had on everybody involved.

The participants took time to train and prepare for their respective games.

The volunteers of all ages, who took time out of their busy lives in ensuring that the event became successful.

Also, the Brosis community as a whole. Putting this together, we understood the inconvenience it could have on people, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. Your involvement doesn't get the recognition it deserves to everybody in the community who cheered and encouraged the young talented players.

Since the end of the tournament, we have received much excitement, and the most consistent comments came from the participants.

A special thank you goes to Philip Santi Mayaka for giving our kids an opportunity to showcase their talents. Your donation and support brought this back, and we are grateful for your willingness to assist in putting this on and bringing the community together for a successful event.

There are so many more groups and individuals that deserve recognition, and we are thankful for you as well.
