DUE TO TYPHOON HAIYAN, JLK JLU FOCUSED ON PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO OUR COUNTRY FELLOWMEN BACK HOME.

TYPHOON HAIYAN CAMPAIGN 2013

TOGETHER with friends in Iceland & Mutya Iceland Team and other Filipino Icelandic Organizations,

JLK JLU as one of the main organizers during the HAIYAN BUFFET-Iceland in support of UNICEF Typhoon Haiyan Campaign.

Sponsorship from JLK JLU, Family Foundation-Iceland and Iceland´s FA: (Meat) chicken, turkey, lamb and beef

JLK JLU DONATIONS/CONTRIBUTIONS

ORMOC, BANTAYAN ISLAND-CEBU and BOHOL

 

 

 

 

 

Together with FRIENDS & Mutya Iceland Team--(Now PPi Project Pearl International-Iceland) and FIA Organizations.

Ms. Evelyn Rojas Tagalog of PPi - 4th Floor Hotel/Icelandic Hotel and Nordic Car Rental and CC City Car Rental with Mr. Josh "Bong" Mamailao Varon organized a Halloween Haiyan Fundraising Party in participation of FIA Filipino Icelandic Association in Iceland. The said event collected 51,477 ISK in the total amount.  JLK JLU collaborated and donated essential supplies like blankets and kids T-shirts to Haiyan victims to Ormoc, Bantayan Island-Cebu, and Bohol.

 

 

JLK-JLU Mission-TOGETHER WE ARE ONE WITH YOU

Donated essential supplies like blankets and kids' T-shirts.

Hoping this will put a smile on the face of a child when they wrap themselves in these blankets during the night.

 

 

Bohol, Ormoc, and Bantayan Island Cebu each received 100 blankets and 100 T-shirts extra to Ormoc in collaboration with JLK-JLU Mission.

REMARKS: For the TSHIRTS and BLANKETS. We did not receive any donations or contributions from any establishments and organizations above. From the Halloween Party 2013, organized by PPi Vice-Chairman Evelyn Tagalog and PPi Executive Dir Josh Varon with the FIA, Filipino-Icelandic Association President Ate Nora Mangubat we received the amount of 51,477isk and 10,000isk from PPi ChairmanENFiD.org Iceland Rep Lilja Veðis only. The rest of the remaining cost were paid by The LovingAct/JLKJLU. Distribution to ORMOC, BOHOL AND DAAN BANTAYAN, leady by JLKJLU Sis Che Mirafuentes from JLKJLU CDO.
